At African Taste Beauty, we want you to be completely satisfied with every product you purchase. Our goal is to bring you authentic African food and natural beauty products that meet the highest standards of quality and freshness.
Please read our policy carefully to understand how we handle returns, refunds, and exchanges.
1. Eligibility for Returns
Because many of our products are food or personal care items, we can only accept returns under the following conditions:
The item arrived damaged, defective, or incorrect.
You contact us within 7 days of delivery to report the issue.
The item is unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns for:
Opened or used food, beauty, or personal care items.
Perishable items that have been stored improperly after delivery.
Sale or clearance items (unless they arrived damaged or defective).
2. How to Request a Return
To request a return, please contact our support team at

Include your order number, photos of the product, and a brief description of the issue.
Once your request is reviewed and approved, we’ll provide you with instructions for returning the item.
3. Refunds
After we receive and inspect your returned item:
If approved, a refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
You’ll receive a confirmation email once your refund is processed.
If the product is not eligible for a refund, we’ll notify you with an explanation.
4. Exchanges
If your item arrived damaged or defective, we’re happy to replace it at no extra cost.
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery to request an exchange.
5. Shipping Costs
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the return is due to our error (wrong item, damaged, or defective).
For approved refunds, original shipping charges are non-refundable.
6. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase if they haven’t yet shipped.
Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled and must follow the return process outlined above.
